As a group of children and their parents gathered for an entirely voluntary Drag Queen Storytime at Sparks Library in Nevada on Sunday afternoon, another group gathered outside of the building: Proud Boys members, protesting against LGBTQ rights. WRAL-TV reported that police were monitoring the small protest from a distance, but left when protesters began to disperse. At that point, however, a person in Proud Boys garb and carrying a gun approached the library, causing everyone outsideincluding childrento run into the building for protection. Its unclear if the man was arrested or charged. Earlier this month, Proud Boys members interrupted another voluntary Drag Queen Story Hour at a library in California and hurled homophobic slurs.

(1,962 posts)And we do need such laws, because mass killing machines should not be in the hands of the public... especially when many people in the public have shown us they can't handle a Super Soaker, forget about an AR-15.

(26,280 posts)active duty military or some reserve military personnel have them as long as they keep the weapons secure.
Everyone else though? Hell no!!!
IngridsLittleAngel
(1,962 posts)Active or reserve military having such weapons? Of course. Especially since they have a duty to perform and the proper training on handling such weapons.
The masses, though? No way. Absolutely no reason to give them access to such firepower.

(1,962 posts)Yet another glaring example of how these MF'ers don't care at all about the kids they claim to be "protecting." What was this basement dwelling deplorable going to do? Just open fire on the crowd to "kill the damned drag queens," not giving a damn who they hit just so long as they satisfied their blood lust?
They just want to kill the others. And why not? The QOP tells them it's okay. Fux tells them it's okay. More stochastic terror in what has been the Pride Month of Terror.
I doubt he was arrested or charged, though. Probably got a fistbump and some ice cream from the cops - who did such a great job "monitoring" this "protest."
So in the last few weeks, we have gone from harassment, to threats, to them barging into libraries demanding "where's the drag queens?!" to now a gun.
How much longer until the shootings happen? A few days? A week? Maybe a month? There's going to be a shooting at one of these events thanks to the QOP's stochastic terrorism. Innocent people are going to die because no one forced these brats to grow up, and no one told them "No, you can't terrorize people because the world isn't exactly what you want... INCEL."
Only a matter of time, as Cheezoholic said. And that time is running out fast at this rate.
We are becoming the Divided Terrorist State of Murka.... if we haven't already.
