Ghislaine Maxwell reported jail staff threatened her safety, prompting suicide watch

Reuters
Ghislaine Maxwell reported Brooklyn jail staff threatened her safety, prompting employees to place her on suicide watch, prosecutors said on Sunday, arguing there was no need to delay her sentencing on sex trafficking charges.

Maxwell, 60, is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday

There are many who have yet to be exposed (why haven't they!?!?) that would love her to be silenced

Then the best thing she can do is to tell everything she knows.

Why doesn't she do that? Is she dumb?

And don't say, "Because they'd kill her."

Because if your point is "they will kill her to keep her silent" and "they will kill her if she doesn't stay silent" then she has some of the dumbest potential assassins on the planet.

They've given her months and months to make sure that multiple people including her attorneys, have a record of everything she knows.

What is it they are waiting for in order to kill her?

She catered the dark side of those billionaire sociopaths and knows what they are capable of. Somehow I imagine she'll take a few things to her grave with her, whichever path that takes. She deserves her fate.

Since she isn't going to talk about the global network of billionaire pedophiles, and that's the rational choice, then what would be the point of killing her if she is going to keep her silence?

You are basically saying that they are going to kill her for no reason whatsoever.

7. Because her silence is also a tool

Information about who were their clients has so far been kept secret. There are almost certainly some very well connected individuals on that list. Her continued silence allows her to have leverage over those powerful people, potentially getting them to use their power on her behalf.

And how are they using their power on her behalf? She's being sentenced today.

Your point is that she is staying silent so that powerful people will help her. She doesn't seem to be getting much help. Man, those powerful people are stingy.

It would have been nice if the victims who testified at the trial and have given media interviews, not to mention extensive interviews to the FBI, etc., and including quite outspoken victims like Virginia Giuffre, mentioned any of this beyond the other individuals solely identified by Giuffre.

They, and their attorneys such as Lisa Bloom are all threatened into silence, and none of them has ever reported that either because the control is so effective.

It's sad that Lisa Bloom got all that confidential information from her clients and does nothing about it.

She's 60, she got 20 years.

Did the powerful people (who somehow can get this particular judge to issue sentences at their request) have a hand in that or not?

The judge, incidentally, whom you claim to be under the thumb of these powerful people was appointed by Barack Obama and re-appointed by Joe Biden.

Just as well talk.
