palm cards

so, today is election day here in illinois.
i've honestly been barely aware of this primary as there are almost no contests on the ballot.
so, i just pulled up my ward org's palm card.
i used to serve on the board, and i was always especially proud of our endorsement process. we held all day endorsement sessions for the candidates to which quite a few members showed up and voted, invited them to speak at our monthly meetings, and held meet and greets w the judges.
the board got together, and reviewed the judges, their bar ratings, shared what we learned at the meet and greet, and did a palm card.
i laid them out a few times, and proudly passed them out of the corner on election day.
they were often gratefully accepted.

so, take the palm card, thank the party member that gave it to you, and vote it. it's a vote of confidence in your local party. they'll appreciate it. a lot.
