They knew that's where everyone was headed. They also had eyes on people with guns on the day of the protest.
So the big question, why weren't they better prepared? What happened to back up?
Update: Per Hutchinson, Trump didn't want the protesters to have to go through the magnetometers. He said, "They're not here to hurt me."
