to plead the Fifth when asked by Liz Cheney if he believed in the peaceful transition of power.
That is the cornerstone of political belief, and if Flynn couldn't agree to that primary tenet, he is a traitor.
Edited to correct Flynn's name.

(4,616 posts)is the one who plead the 5th. Gen Kelly was Trumps 2nd scumbag Chief of Staff, Meadows was COS #4.

(11,677 posts)Don't know why, but I always mix up the names Flynn and Kelly, even when referring to personal friends with those names. It's a quirk I can't seem to overcome.
Thanks!
(I'll go back to correct,)

(6,991 posts)IS the way I'm reading this. Biden got rid of I think all of those secret service agents that were there with tRump before he became president.
The filth, treason and stench still runs deep within our intelligence agencies and within the higher levels of intelligence that fatso put in there purposely to keep things destabilized, probably because putin probably TOLD tRump to do that.

(18,949 posts)TFG appointed one of his SS detail guys to a political job in the WH. Later, that guy returned to the SS, and was given a job training other agents. That's fucking corrupt.

(7,794 posts)I thought then that I didn't know how comfortable I'd feel if I had to trust my life to the sentiment for duty shown by such blabbermouths. I felt like they'd betrayed their duty because of their political beliefs.

(13,003 posts)that they wanted him to get away to the White House, so he wouldn't be DIRECTLY connected to this shit storm HE CREATED.....
At that point in time, they were all behind trying to cover his ass !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(43,162 posts)The other reality is that SS knew of all the weapons, and, charged by their jobs not to drive the prez into a weaponized situation, HAD to turn him around against his will and get him to the White House. He himself wanted to lead that coup, but too many around him couldn't go that far, even as they aided and abetted him up to that point.
Thanks for your thoughts.

(10,749 posts)Did any Secret Service agents voluntarily provide information to their management or to the Committee on Trump's behavior?
If I were Biden, I would ask the Secret Service for a top-to-bottom assessment of the protective details of himself, the VP and any other executive branch protectees.
erronis
(23,111 posts)With enough growing circumstantial evidence, prosecutions can proceed even without voluntary cooperation.
I'm guessing this isn't aimed at the known crooks (Trump, Flynn, Giuliani, Bannon, etc.) but at those that might get swept up in their bosses trials.
Still amazes me that someone as obviously capable as Cassidy Hutchinson could still consider herself a repuglicon and want to see someone like trump be in power.
