Trump's biggest concern: The Crowd wasn't big enough.
It's obvious to me that he was hoping to spearhead the incursion that would have stopped the election process. The man stopped the magnetometers because he was okay with the guns in the crowd. He had to know that they planned to intimidate the Congress people.
