90% of the pro-Trump GOP gives me the abused spouse vibe

They protect Trump and go along with his abusive, dish-throwing, driver's wheel-grabbing, tantrum-throwing insanity because they feel trapped in a partnership with him. Anyone who dares to cross him gets on his shit list, and they stay sobbing in the corner, quivering in his shadow, until he's finally too old and feeble to hurt them anymore.

These hearings won't help Republicans get past their psychological dependence on the rage-oholic abuser daddy. It'll just give them a brief pause before they transfer their pathetic codependence over to DeSantis, who's also a bullying monster. That's just the type they go for.

Especially with the calls from his team to witnesses "reminding" them that he reads transcripts.

He is a Don, after all.

but I wouldn't be surprised if most of them also fit the domestic abuser profile. There's got to be significant overlap there.
I don't think the Tony Soprano type good family man mobster is realistic.

A crime lord with an iron grip on those around him. One who tends to try to take out the opposition.

He's like an ignorant, buffoonish version of that.

9. Transcripts of the day's hearings are usually out later that day.

NPR has had them posted them by early evening.

Here's the one from the 23rd, for example: https://www.npr.org/2022/06/23/1106700800/jan-6-committee-hearing-transcript

I was thinking he was referring to the transcripts of the depositions/testimony given privately to the Committee.

He watches the hearings as well, I think.

With washable paint or wallpaper?

I would think his plate-throwing antics are well practiced and frequently used.

Can you imagine being married to this creepoid-lunatic-asshole???

Many have thought the worst, of course, but assaulting a Secret Service agent and trying to grab the wheel from the back seat because they won't let him go join an armed mob is next-level crazy train. Apologies to Ozzy.

14. Some poor "aide" reads them to him.

Starts off with a cliff note version with pictures.
If he wants to know more, that aide will recite the actual transcript for that section.
After the aide is finished, s/he is then tossed into the nearest alligator and boa-filled pond for displeasing TFG.

The last sentence is pure speculation, of course. The aide is probably fired.

abusers at the ballot box. It will require them to be brave and may feel like it doesn’t matter as they exit the booth and assure their husband they voted properly.

But as they leave the voting area inside they will know they just took a step to break away from the psychological control and voted for themselves and their children.

That is my hope anyway…

8 years from now they'll find themselves crying quietly while cleaning DeSantis's ketchup off the walls.

No matter how evil to get power and be in charge of country. They are thrilled with Trump because he got them 3 justices and they don't care if any of it was unfair or stolen just so long as their side wins.

That's the main problem is we go up against people who don't play by any rules and yet our side tries to play by them and be the good guys while they just laugh at us.
