Waiting on orders. From whom do you think they were waiting? And why did they never receive them? It didn’t need to be Trumps idea, but he definitely had it in his head that he desperately needed to be there. Desperate enough to grab the wheel and attack an SS officer. Those are desperate acts. A desperate man who knew his cult would not carry out the final stage of the plan unless he personally ordered it. And he promised them at the ellipse that he would do so. The subtext is there.

11. That Doesn't Mean TFG Planned Anything

I don't doubt the story told, i just don't believe that he maintained focus to continue with a plan.
Was there a plan? Obviously yes. I do believe the weapons and staging of shooters was factual.
Was TFG capable of carrying out his part? Very doubtful.

Riled up into a bloodthirsty rage, which he achieved. And at the capital he would have been more than capable of giving his coded mobspeak orders to unleash the reserves. I agree he didn’t plan anything, but he has low cunning and knows mobspeak and would have known exactly what he was doing and would have done it if given the chance. I’d bet a dollar this was the plan. What other explanation for the dog that didn’t bark? The had all those weapons. They were waiting for orders that never came. Why??? The dog didn’t bark because Trump never made it to the capital steps to personally give the order, as was probably promised.

The militants balked because the plan started to go awry when Trump didn’t show as planned. A panicked Trump tried to use tweets instead but at that point the coconspirators would also be panicked because things were going awry.

He said that tRump would go into the chambers and "be very strong" and take over the proceedings.

And not only were there the weapons caches, we now have concrete evidence that there were AR-15s, Pistols and flagpoles with spear points attached IN THE CROWDS.

And Trump knew these weapons were there because he tried to order the magnetometers turned off as they kept finding the weapons there and the others would not come in close for his photo ops as the insurrectionist would loose their weapons.

Ghoolie and trump had an entire strategy planned out once he got to the capitol with his brown shirts.

TFG is a buffoon. There was a coordinated plan but TFG was winging it and wanted to go play banana republican.
I simply don't believe he was capable of executing on a plan. There is zero historical evidence that he was a strategist or could stick to a well coordinated plan.
In fact, the "don't let him go" from some quarters may have been to prevent him from f'ing up the plan.
