(15,257 posts)In states that treat any non-carrying to birth as a potential abortion?
These jerks shouldn't be allowed to be in office or even have kids. They are abominations.

(10,716 posts)And then - "nothing we can do about that".
It's kind of like we are living in an entire world built on science and progress, and mentally choosing to govern ourselves as simple-minded superstitious cave-dwellers did.

(3,243 posts)A molar pregnancy can have fetal tissue that is growing but not actually forming into anything. It can lead to cancer.

(23,314 posts)We closely watched what we thought was a normal pregnancy but my doctor saw a cardiac anomaly that she said would most likely end in the death of the fetus. Indeed she was correct and babys heartbeat slowly came to a complete stop over the course of the next couple of weeks, finally ending when I was 15 weeks into my pregnancy. The fetus did not expel and I was referred for a D&C which removed the dead tissue from my body. It has occurred to me many times during this last week that living in Montana, that service may not be available to me now.

(11,769 posts)But the doctor forced birth. She is still traumatized, hasn't fully recovered. She cries a lot. We hug and I let her cry and love on her. We take flowers to the grave. She took pictures of her little dead baby girl. It's not something we get over. I am so sorry for your ongoing grief. I have never been through this, but I am going through comforting someone who is. It's devastating and never goes away. I hope you have someone to hold you and just stroke your head and love you. Cry with you.

(23,314 posts)and thank you for your support for your dear sister. Miscarriages are terrible. I was one of the fortunate ones to find myself pregnant at 40 and gave birth to a baby boy at 41. That kiddo is now 17 and the light of my life. Miscarriages are often swept under the rug. My heart goes out to your sister. I cant imagine her trauma.

(11,769 posts)And their families, will claim, God's will. It's what they do. God's will, over and over. This is the republican base. It will take millions of dead women, and even then, you will have white women proclaiming victory. God's will, always God's will. So, how do we counter such entrenched belief? We can't. The youth need to fight. I have no grandchildren. I have one son committed to equal rights, my other son converted to Mormon. The Mormon son and his wife committed to no children because of his wife's depression issues. They knew they would make great aunts and uncles, and are, but have no business being parents.
So, both sons are committed to non reproduction. I'm the only one in our family without grandchildren. I am proud of my boys and their decisions. I stood firm against family who tried to deride and diminish them. Not really men, and bs like that. Verses their kids who were popping out kids constantly, and to what ends? No father involved, no child support, working in a motel changing out sperm splattered sheets? Yep, last I was criticized for not having grandchildren. But, they also don't speak to me at all now. I try to miss them, but can't quite. Maybe some day. 😄
I am completely done with people who are bullies, bigots, racist, and just plain mean hearted. Even if they're family. I am old enough to choose my family. I choose loving supportive people. People in my life didn't take me serious, when I told them, I AM DONE WITH YOU, and I
crossed my hand over my neck. I am done! Cut off! I meant it. Now, they tell others, they are surprised. 😄

(6,254 posts)I think it was called to remove the fetuses. What happens in states with complete abortion ban? Must women either sue or go out of state? By the way, the child born after the twins started his Orthopedic Surgery residency last week.
