Is there any legitimate reason for Pence not to testify?

He isn't accused of wrongdoing, so what does he have to lose? It seems to me that his testimony is too important to the country for him to wimp out now.

If he were to testify, he'd lose them forever.

He's so fucking STUPID that he doesn't realize he'll NEVER have them regardless of what he does.
