Are we now ready to enter the "Cover-Up" phase?

Will the Congress be investigated? Will the 139 Representatives that voted not to certify the election be asked any questions?

Will we ever know the plans of those in the "War Room" at the Willard Hotel?

Will we ever know how far Donald Trump was going to take it to remain in power?

Will the American people ever understand that the Big Lie about a stolen election was nothing more than an excuse to do all the illegal acts leading up to the attack upon our Capitol? The entire purpose was to keep Donald Trump and the Republicans in power.

Will Donald Trump or Mark Meadows ever serve any time?

Haven't we seen enough? Isn't it about time to sweep it under the rug and cover it up and see how much history will remember?

It's been remarkable what a good job they've been doing. All that time they investigated and kept secrets and did most of their work quietly and then they have these hearings and BOOM. We see how deeply they've gone, how much evidence they have. And they are so smart to have most of the public testimony come from republicans. Of course, the criming was done by republicans so that's they pool of witnesses there, but it does make it harder to completely ignore these hearings.

More and more, with every brave witness, the Trump treason will begin to crumble.

and his cabal were willing to go to maintain power. If they hadn't attempted the coup there wouldn't have been an investigative committee and we would never know what has been revealed so far.

And there's much more to come and should help us in November. IMO trump is dead in the water now and won't even get the repub nomination, much less get back to the WH. Thanks to the committee.

They may be building up to something mighty tasty.

We haven't heard anything about the pipe bombs nor the "recon" tours yet.

Former Meadows Aide Says Lauren Boebert Was Involved in ‘Early Planning’ of January 6th

BY TARA DUBLIN
APRIL 27, 2022

Cassidy Hutchinson, a former assistant to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, identified Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) as one of a small group of Republican lawmakers who met with Meadows as early as the last week of November 2020 to “raise the idea” of former Vice President Mike Pence intervening to prevent the certification of election results by Congress on January 6, 2021. The ensuing assault on the U.S. Capitol by a mob of Trump supporters that day led to the deaths of five people and Trump’s eventual second impeachment trial.

Hutchinson specifically named Boebert in her testimony before the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol in February. Portions of her testimony were made public this week as part of a legal filing made by lawyers for the committee in a lawsuit brought against it by Meadows in an effort to block several subpoenas.

Boebert has been scrutinized for giving tours of the Capitol to a “large group” of people on the day prior to the insurrection, and for sending tweets that some characterized as relaying “intel” about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s location during the attack. On the morning of January 6th, she tweeted, “Today is 1776.”

Under questioning, Hutchinson recalled several meetings in the weeks after Thanksgiving in which “campaign officials and a few members of Congress” discussed the possibility of Pence aiding an effort to overturn the election results on January 6th. “Mr. Scott Perry, Mr. Jim Jordan… Ms. Marjorie Taylor Greene. and Lauren Boebert are the four members that immediately jump out to me,” Hutchinson said.

And they were smart to show the witness tampering. It exposes those doing the tampering and may have the effect of reducing continued threats, so more people may come in to testify.

Having a 25 year old woman come in and show her bravery SHOULD shame the cowards who are afraid to testify. It also may produce more information coming in to the committee.

This committee doesn't present stuff if they don't have the evidence to back it up. Yes, some of this is hearsay, but they have said they have corroboration from other sources.

They're doing an incredible job.
