Amazing. The madman could still regain the presidency

WTF is wrong with America? How can this crazed prick still be considered a contender for the White House? Even with Fox “news” and the rest of his minions spreading shit to counter Cassidy Hutchinsen’s devastating testimony? Who could possibly be surprised by him throwing dishes, throwing shit fits against the Secret Service, and perhaps even masturbating while watching the shower scene in “Psycho?”

Given everything we’ve seen of him over the past five or six years, he should be exiled to some deserted atoll to protect the rest of the world from him.

Yet, there are still pundits wondering if/when he’s going to announce his run for the presidency. And there’s still a majority of Republicans in congress too afraid to say out loud “Go The Fuck Away.” They are a party of “Profiles in Cowardice.”

I refuse to believe that the orange turd could ever again contaminate the Oval Office. But then, I didn’t think it was possible for him to be elected in 2016.

If somehow, someway, the vast majority of us don’t prevent him from ever again coming anywhere near power, we deserve whatever he wants to do to/with us.

But with my "friends" and "families" that voted for TFG, I don't think anyone changed their minds about him. I am sure they will vote for him again. That's why I am worried about him running again. With how vindictive TFG is, I am sure he will implement even worst policies just to annoy and hurt us for voting for President Biden in 2020 if he somehow wins in 2024.

Many red states have been and are still being rigged to suppress Dem voters and/or gerrymander them so that their votes are meaningless. And they've had their "practice run" at a coup d'etat. They will ensure the next one succeeds.

Supreme Court run amok with their decisions on guns, abortion and the separation of church and state.

The know-nothings seem to be in charge of the levers of power. We supposedly run the other two branches of government, the presidency and the congress. But, as Manchin and Sinema have shown us, we don't control shit.

I really don't have an answer as to how we win out over their corruption, their hatred of democracy and the pure evil they've brought down upon us. But one way or another, we must defeat this attack upon us. The alternative is unthinkable.

Most people don't pay attention to things that don't affect them, (high food and gas prices are all they see). Republicans point at Dems and say "They're responsible for this." And far too many fools buy into that crap. It's just part of their normal, everyday cheating, lying and stealing.

If Biden actually tried to seize the power to do this, the Republicans would accuse him of socialism/communism and who knows what else. Their hypocrisy is mind-blowing, but that's no surprise.

Just a bit of reality: George H. W. Bush fucked up the economy and Clinton had to fix it. Bush Jr. screwed up the economy and Obama had to fix it. Trump fucked up everything he touched and I don't think that Jesus/Muhammad/Moses/Apollo could fix it.

We're going to be paying high prices for a while no matter which party runs things.

But at least with the Democratic Party in charge, our basic freedoms will be secure. (Except for those that the Republican/Fascist Supreme Court decides to take away from us.)

From Mid-february until election day (2020) RCP only shows a single national poll with Trump leading overall (by a single point).

I've seen three polls in the last two months with him ahead 2-4 points.

There is no sense in this world

12. How do other democratic countries handle 1st amendment type situations?

They don't allow propaganda like crap such as Fox "News" on TV, do they? They're clear and present dangers to the state. I know here, in the U.S., the Scotus has ruled they're not "news" but "entertainment" and, as such, have every right to lie to their viewers. And, poorer for it, their viewers either don't know that fact or don't care. But other democracies also have to deal with propaganda. How do they do it and not fall afoul to their laws? Perhaps we should be looking to *them* for guidance, instead of suggesting they look to *us* for guidance!
