Sometimes I type a word in caps to emphasize it.

Personally I don't think of caps as yelling, I think of it as emphasizing. And sometimes people type with cap lock by mistake. But I know some people get very upset or offended, like someone's really yelling.

If you're seeing a lot of "yelling" maybe it's just someone trying to be heard, or trying to emphasize a point or get attention.

I haven't noticed it, but NOW I'll be on the lookout.
