Obesity is a serious matter, but weve never had populations who looked like the fashion industry models. Its good to see that change.

(2,738 posts)very quickly after George Floyd died. Many broadcasting and production companies seem to have a reckoning with themselves and decided to do the right thing. Even voices on radio seem to reflect more diversity.

(512 posts)Compared to the US. I havent been to England for about 5 years but I have noticed in interesting observation. Among the younger generations with all the smoking, heavy drinking, and consuming of fried greasy foods, they are much more plump the younger people in California. I jog 8-10 miles daily and I dont believe I saw any young (under 30)joggers here which I found odd. Thankfully many young Americans that I know are prioritizing their physical and mental well-being.
