As if he had any intention of going.

His statement that he was going was incendiary.

1. The Big Orange Pig hates walking. He'd never physically be able to walk the distance to the Capitol.

2. He hates his supporters and doesn't want to rub elbows with them. All he wants is their money. He would have to be in very close quarters with some of the most disgusting people on the planet at the Capitol.

3. As stupid and egocentric as The Big Orange Pig is, he'd have to know the optics of leading murderers and treasonous scumbags to the Capitol to overturn a free and fair election would be much, much more than a "smoking gun". It would be the only exhibit necessary to convict him of high treason.

He may jump up and down and scream about how he wanted to lead his cult to the Capitol, but I doubt he really meant it.

9. I think he wanted to be there and see people killed, interrupt the proceedings, and act like a hero.

He wanted a moment of greatness with blood everywhere. But he would be perfectly safe and in control because of all the terrorists supporting him.
