(102,217 posts)Whether or not she finally got a GED on her own steam (or has been reported, that only after failing the test repeatedly someone may have intervened to help her along)... it is clear she knows virtually nothing and never attempted to learn anything. A junior high student would put her to shame--probably even most elementary school students. How embarrassing to have someone like this in Congress. (and yes, she has several similarly ignorant colleagues).

(5,377 posts)I'm thinking that mouth needs some lipstick.
Of the instant superglue variety.
I'm surprised snakes and other nasties don't come from her mouth every time she opens it.
She needs to read up on the Salem witch trials. She would soon change her mind.

(12,503 posts)Yes...the stupid is strong today, isn't it?
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Thursday threw her support toward letting Russian President Vladimir Putin win by pulling the United States out of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
Writing on Twitter, Greene slammed the Biden administration for continuing to supply Ukraine with the weapons it says it needs to repel the Russian military invasion that began back in February.
"The American people do not want war with Russia, but NATO and our own foolish leaders are dragging us into one," Greene wrote. "A war that no one will win. Escalation over Ukraine, a non-member nation, risking nuclear war is a power play endangering the entire world. We should pull out of NATO."
In reality, both the Biden administration and NATO have ruled out getting directly militarily involved in Ukraine, even though many member nations are shipping the country weapons that it's using to fight the Russians.

(6,617 posts)never saw anything so stupid in my life. Something is wrong with her district in Colorado. I think we need to find an island and put her and MTG on as rulers and move those voters there. They don't deserve to live in a civilized society.

(6,818 posts)are so because of the 2nd amendment propaganda machine. That's been the norm, in my experience, since 1998. They ALL had/have no other political commonality with the Republican party and, when other issues are discussed independent from political party, their views ALWAYS align with Democratic platforms. Within the set, Republicans I know well, the only other issue that approaches the 2-A in importance for them is abortion.
On Rights of Choice, they pretty much fall into 1 of 2 camps. Those who see it as a moral issue, largely Catholic adherents who depend primarily on the "wisdom" of the church for all their theol/moral thinking. Those who see it as a non-issue purported by Catholics who they see as pope worshipping radicals. Neither group really acknowledging the other.
Also, and somehow even more disturbing for me, there is a preponderance of emotionality which outstrips their rationality revealed in the tendency to place great value on cohesion and conformity. This contradiction, very little in common as a group while retaining rigid adherence to uniformity, alone informs the dearth of introspection upon which their existence as a political entity relies.

(4,006 posts)What fools they raise in R-land. If MTG's statement doesn't cause R's to abandon her, what's left that she hasn't said? Start interring all libs? Shoot their kids? Topple the Washington Monument? Geesh, what powerful KoolAid have they consumed?

(8,711 posts)Their Jesus would support the slaughter of innocent women, children, and old people. Even if they are Americans, his chosen peeps, so he damn sure dont care about those people. Guns and rockets and bombs are gifts from God. And what sucks, Bang Bang Barbie Boebert, (sorry, Barbie is much more educated) just won her district in a huge landslide, after that damn comment, and she said it in a church on Sunday to cheers. Start taxing the fuck out of churches and wealthy ass pastors. What was it Jesus charge for sermons???
Maybe Colorado is taking legal weed a bit too far. They must be giving babies eatable pacifiers to keep em quite, when brain development is just getting going.

(219 posts)the right does it with their buy bull and with the Founding Fathers. As in all things, they only give the one's who they agree with the label. Boebert's a kkklown and known commodity, as stupid and ignorant as a conservative can get. However, the people who voted for her are the real problem. The kkklown can be removed from office. The people who put her there can just put another nut job in. And, there's not much we can do but put more of us than them into office. Vote blue, please. Thank you.
