With the supreme court taking the new case on state legislature power over

Elections, Democrats have an even higher moral obligation to pass a law to add seats to the supreme court for the sake of our democracy. It will be up to Biden whether he wants to sign it were it to make it to his desk.

Are increasingly good. This must be the first task in January if Democrats can manage to get enough seats to do it.

But, then again, I would never have agreed to bring scotus protection to the floor without SOLIDLY passed voting rights & other issues in the bank. 😏

On edit: not criticizing our Dem leaders. They have reasons, I'm sure, that I'm unaware of.

Ds reasoning to agree to this than I am. My opinion is that, despite what they say, they (Ds in Congress) think of the rest of us as "others" and their vote confirmed our two-level society.

You are very kind. As for me, I'll criticize any one and any Party that doesn't protect my rights while expanding and protecting others rights. Maybe it's because of my age but I just don't give a F*** about considering peoples feelings or trying to view the issue from their perspective any more. Some issues are right and some issues are wrong. The slaughtering of children is wrong. The infringement on my Constitutional rights as a woman is wrong. End of discussion.

They have everything in place. The right checked us (and democracy itself) with the 2000 theft and McConnell checkmated us with the refusal to seat anyone President Obama selected.

They just wanted it more.

If it keeps, and we manage to gain seats in the Senate while keeping the house, the possibility is highly likely we can pass a bill. Biden would be completely insane not to sign it. Since Biden is not completely insane, I imagine he would sign it

If Congress passes the law, the only choice he has is to veto or sign. That decision will be based on whatever context of whatever events are occurring at the time a law is passed.

The intention is to make the popular vote in each state irrelevant. They intend on heads I win tails you lose ‘elections’.
