I have never seen women in my locality so angry.. and I mean all women

many self proclaimed Republicans (though I admit they seem more sane than what I see online saying they are republicans )..but wow I would not be the least bit surprised if Liz Cheney kept her seat, if the women in Wyoming are as hot as hell as many in Iowa are.. I know we are months away..but I am seeing as of this moment in time a real shift in the mood at Church and other areas .. wait and see.. but keep the pressure up folks.. the Republican Court may have shot itself in the proverbial foot.. just the mention of possibly taking away the right to contraception's.. holy moley.. pitchforks and ax handles will come out from a lot of Moms.. lots and lots of worry and talk about our daughters being cut off from medical needs..

Racism & Christianity are very hierarchy based; for some people knowing their spot in the pecking order is security. So they buy into anything that serves to protect and enforce it. The abortion prohibition on the other hand negatively affects them and their families directly, so it's different.

She's doing a wonderful service, ensuring a secure burial of Trump, but she's still her father's daughter. Soon enough, we'll see the "rational" Republicans (don't believe those two words actually belong together) flock to her as their "high plains messiah", creating the next iteration of American "conservatism".

... hated the Roe ruling but it wasn't because they had religious scruples. They opposed abortion when poor folks got their abortions paid for by Medicaid. The old-time Repukes didn't want the government paying for abortions and other "family planning" because it would make THEIR taxes go up.

If a woman got an abortion and paid for it herself, well they were fine with that. That was the only reason - Jesus had nothing to do with it. Liz Cheney is an old-time Repuke and she doesn't want poor people getting free stuff from Uncle Sam. Whether her supporters understand the distinction or not, I don't know.

Some one mentioned yesterday, I did not think of, but many moms that are not thinking about more kids but have daughters, They are PISSED. Momma bears hate their daughters being attacked. That could switch them and in turn THEY will get those daughters out in the fight. Let em keep talking about birth control on the line! Lots of college females AND males have skin in that game. Oh damn, “Birth Control” just began having a whole different meaning. “Others” CONTROLLING BIRTH!. I would wish ya HAPPY FORTH but the Supremacy Court stuck a fork in this day of celebration. We may need to change the date until November Election Day If Dems, and all pissed off Americans do what they need to do. We can however look at this 4th as a wake up call that it can all be gone in a few months. Take back our flag and our country. Be safe. Thanks for the positive post. Much needed after yesterday.

The only surviving parent of my 32 year old daughter. We lost her mom when she was only 10. You can damn sure believe this dad is furious at all the hell the GQP is bringing down. We are pretty much alone, my family are GQP Christian’s. Her moms family are GQP Christian’s that stole from my daughter following her moms death for years, still in church and loving their God. So it’s her and me. I only speak for me, but I will fight like hell for her. To any extreme. Pretty sure there are millions of dads that will lay down life for their daughters. Can’t comprehend those that would not.

leave most men out of the equation. Most men are not rapists. However, unwanted pregnancies happen. What about consensual sex (is that still a thing?) and shot gun weddings where young men and women who had a sexual fling are forced into marriage because they are from 'decent' families? I know that I didn't want to spend my life with some of the men I had sex with but if a child had been involved the outcome may have been different. Those young men need to be just as much pro Roe v Wade as young women.

This is not even to mention all the ancillary benefits of birth control and sexual health such as reduction in STDs, sexual education. distribution of condoms, and reproductive care, all of which are somewhat the result of access to birth control.
