What happens if TFG declares his candidacy on July 4? Will DOJ indict a presidential candidate?

If it is DOJ policy to appear non-political, what will Merrick Garland do?

That mobbed-up orange asshole has never been held accountable for any of his crimes. I hope the DOJ doesn't let him skate again.

indictments. It’s by design. The DOJ can’t coddle him anymore. He’s got way too much exposure.

All it takes is one person to hold-out and at least one of his cult members is likely to be on any jury.

I don't care if he is a former guy. He's not yet nominated. Not sure why he'd have any special rights.

This guy has wormed his way though life, squirming out of pretty much every serious consequence. I want to see him slammed to the floor.

I personally have long believed that Garland will give a wide berth to any President’s actions while they are/were in office. I thought preserving/protecting the office was his utmost priority.

That being said, he will be under immense pressure to start indicting and arresting the powerful people tied to the insurrection, including TFG.

I am still inclined to believe Garland will not go after TFG; but he will likely pursue everyone else involved. I would say there is maybe a 40% chance that he will try to take down TFG himself.

Some of them are always running for one office or another, just because you cannot be indicted? That's not a thing (IMO).
