“The sources tell CNN that stories circulated about the incident — including details that are similar to how former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson described it to the House select committee investigating January 6 — in the months immediately afterward the US Capitol attack and before she testified this week.”

When Ornato & the other thugs disputed it, i assumed they were the liars.
The committee has been very buttoned up. They would not have let her recite that tale if they didn't already have corroboration.
They've been too savvy to set such a trap for themselves.

That’s not exactly the same thing as Ornato or anyone else who was there saying it didn’t happen. Heard from a friend who heard it from a friend who… often falls apart when direct confrontation occurs.

You're right about the denial being anonymous. But, it still came from the same gaggle of liars, so the "3rd hand info" about testifying was likely made up.
But, i still think it's true & the committee has receipts.
They may deny it coming days, but I'm convinced the denials will be lies.

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if there was a black box in the Beast? I could easily believe one is active in a presidential transport vehicle so that if anything happens you don’t need the Zapruders of the world to step forward.

Although the general public would never be made aware of the practice. Maybe we’re figuring out what was in those crates down there in Murde-A-Loco.

Now Cheney is watching the tapes on endless loop asking questions about how this didn’t happen and putting a perjury check mark next to each name whose story doesn’t meet their testimony.

11. A few of the Dems on that committee are former prosecutors. I would hope they wouldn't be...

so stupid as to have that stuff put out there without some solid confirmation from other sources. I presume that they are also well aware that doing so without confirmation would open them up to well-justified attacks from the right and be very damaging to the validity of the Committee's work. 7. It's a kneejerk reaction to all things Republican.

Some assume that they're all exactly alike and they're all exactly like Trump. Obviously, if that were the case, we wouldn't be seeing them testifying in the first place.

It's gotten rather tiresome.

I even read someone demand that we dump Liz Cheney from the committee because she's anti-choice. As if we didn't know that already.

They do not put any info out unless they have a ton of proof. Anyone who attempts to lie will not last long before they perjure themselves.

15. Of course...He HAD to go to the capitol

The coup was not an option for the unstable synchopat who was cornered by his crimes. He HAD to do it. It was sedition or prison...He knew that.

No march to the Capitol, and the dominos toward bankruptcy and prison start to fall. His desperate effort to hijack the SUV was totally consistant in his desperate state of mind.

It is a slow-moving process, but the results are inevitable. He will lose his fortune and freedom in federal and/or state prosecution.

The die was cast when he came down the elevator in 2015. He is hard-wired for corruption.
