A democratic, majoritarian, commonsense party that confronts and controls extremism

That's the winning formula for a party, imo. The Democratic Party can control and defeat the Republican Party nuttiness we currently see. But the first thing the Democratic Party has to do better is control itself. That means we let wise people like Biden, Pelosi, Abrams, Buttigieg, Clyburn, Klobuchar, Schiff, etc., run the show. They don't alienate majorities of people; they attract them. That's what we need.

I like the big tent, and I like the enthusiasm of many that want to go too far, too fast.

But we have to win elections.

Blowing it all up, like we hear from many on the margins, isn’t really an option.
