(3,397 posts)Make calls to keep Congress blue. Increase our Senate margin so we can enact filibuster reform and expand the Supreme Court.

(23,406 posts)That said, I know a few that do work out - with a vengeance (and possibly, steroids). Those tend to be the worst.

(25,725 posts)Pisses me off to no end because I workout daily, resistance and cardio, but don't use pharmaceutical help. And I am OLD!
Every time I see thin skin under 15% body fat, exaggerated traps and delts, I get furious.
Right wing shitnozzles love to cheat.

(17,670 posts)I used to have a neighbor who did yardwork in my neighborhood to make some extra money. He liked to wear wife beater undershirts to work in to trim shrubs etc. He was about 63 years old. He'd also go to the tanning salon. I didn't see much of him over the winter months, but come spring I drove by one day and saw him trimming a neighbor's shrubs. His arms and shoulders were absolutely massive and I actually had to stare to make sure I was seeing correctly. His wife told me that he went to a special doctor who would mix different formulas for one's needs. She even showed me a vial of the stuff. Keep in mind that this woman was as dumb as a rock and a trump voter (doesn't it sort of go hand in hand?). I just knew that in three months time he couldn't have bulked up that much.
I surmised he was taking steroids. By the next spring he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was dead in three months.
So much for "looking good".

(25,725 posts)Very few men have medically low testosterone. But if you see ads it's every guy over 40. These clinics are basically upscale versions of the assholes at a Golds Gym (or any gym rat gym) in the 80's that whispered something like "wanna bench more? $50 for 10 pills"...steroid pushers.

(17,670 posts)if it's for more testosterone, that's also what his wife told me. She said he needed it for low testosterone.

(23,406 posts)Shooting up parades and other public events has become the preferred form of protest for today's young Republicans.
Boy - I miss the snotty, snooty kind from the '80s and '90s.

(23,406 posts)It's just to those types, 'getting'er started' probably means something a lot more violent - and ballistic.
If I were a betting man, I'd say that - akin to the Buffalo shooter - Crimo targeted Highland Park, IL, because it's known as an upscale, heavily-Democratic area - with a large Jewish community, besides.
Pretty much checks all the boxes of what today's radicalized Repugs love to hate.

(24,157 posts)You know, many have spent thousands of dollars in fine killing machines. Probably stocked up on thousands of rounds of ammo just in case they need to "do something".
I remember one of the militant groups asking "When can we start to use these things?"
So let's just tell the rest of the peaceful Americans that aren't "america's gun owners" that they don't count. That this isn't a democracy. That people that own the most weapons have more votes. Just like those that have the biggest bank accounts.
