There should be only one entrance in and out — lockable.
If anyone props the door open, they are to blame.
Mandatory “parade shooter drills” every few months.

And if anyone says guns are not allowed in the parade, then argue with them, because gunfree parade zones are the problem. Shooters think they won’t encounter resistance because unarmed people don’t fight back. Instead, we should consider arming the parade marchers. That way they can stop any bad guy with a gun by being good guys with guns.

In the Marine Corps I was in, if you had live rounds outside of training areas, your young ass was grass, and in a parade...? Never happen.
