WGN is carrying this photo of Crimo dressed in a wig, makeup and a cute outfit, and appears to have padded his chest. After the massacre he abandoned his gun on the fire escape and blended into the crowd to get away.

Is it possible the Hard Right was planning to use this guy to demonstrate how violent drag queens are and prove they need to be banned?

This reminds me of the Vegas shooter. He didn’t have a disguise but something tells me he thought he could get away. That’s why I thought he sent his girlfriend ahead to the Philippines. They would know who he was but if he could have gotten to the airport he might have actually gotten away.

making a general guess about his attire and why he was wearing it.
The guy obviously wasn't right in the head so I wouldn't expect a lot of rational thought from him.
However, even I know that police would most likely be looking for a male since males are generally the ones who do this sort of thing.
I just don't automatically assume why he was dressed like he was, all we have is a photo and no context.
It was confirmed in the past hour that this guy had some serious mental issues and had a bunch of knives confiscated by the police in 2019. He was also under the care of mental health professionals following a suicide attempt of unknown level. All of this coming from a police spokesman on ABC about an hour ago.
Definitely a twisted soul, and he seemed to dress up as all sorts of stuff based on the photos I'm seeing all over the internet. I have no idea why either. I refuse to jump to conclusions. The very nature of these incidents leads to far more incorrect information than anything else, especially early on.

I saw one article where 2/3 of the comments were trying to claim he's Antifa/far-left/a hardcore Biden supporter, despite being photographed at a Drumpf rally (the Waldo picture), another picture of him with a Pepe shirt, and of course the one with the Drumpf flag draped over his back.

Despite all that? "His dad is a Democrat and he's Antifa!"

Now we can toss in "Trans!" to the other fake accusations. Because, no MAGA would ever, ever commit an act of violence.

All of this is just overwhelmingly sickening. From the people injured and killed, to the chaos and the terror... Now toss in how this is going to be used to blame innocent people.

The worst part is, I get the feeling that was his very goal. It's obvious from his "rap" that he already saw it as his destiny to take part in a mass shooting. Now he's not only done that, but he's going to get the heat put on innocent people in the process. Because, yes. I do think the UltraMAGAs are going to use this to target trans people and drag queens - just like how they already tried with Uvalde.
