If there's one thing the conservatives are good at, it's messaging. And getting out the message. They have a near monopoly on AM radio, they have 3 highly rated 24 hour a day news networks, and they also have a near monopoly on local network TV. Not to mention they have a large amount of unfiltered internet propaganda at their disposal. If we want to beat these guys, we have to beat them at their own game. But we got to start small. And it's gonna get ugly!

But you are right - Trump is just a symptom of an even bigger problem. And that problem is that we have a news network run by a megalomaniacal foreign billionaire that's out for absolute power and they are currently controlling the message. Trump is a useful idiot to them. When they no longer need him, they'll toss him out like old newspapers. Until we address the propaganda problem in this country it's going to be the same shit, different day.
