4. I was at a gathering last night, and some doofus

started shooting off fireworks about 10 feet from where we were all seated.

I ran outta there as fast as I could!

I will tell the host the next time I see him that his friend was totally irresponsible to be so close to the
group!

26. That looks like the Bay barges in San Diego Harbor ...

a couple of July 4th's ago.
They were synchronized to some radio station and they were supposed have 20 to 30 minutes of professional fireworks on each barge.
500,000 lined the bay throughout the day, trying to secure a great view, for the show.
Then apparently someone programmed the computer incorrectly and when the show started, each barge went up, there were about 4 or 5 barges. Show lasted all of about 15 seconds with fireworks flying in all directions.
Needless to say, the city didn't want to pay pyrotechnics company for the show.

33. I remember that.

Several family members were there, they told me all about it.

They started doing the synchronized fireworks set to music played on the radio so everyone could hear it. Was quite novel when they started it, I went to one back then.

30. When I was a kid my brother and some of his friends

were shooting bottle rockets out of a car while one of them drove. One guy dropped a lit one and it landed on a gross of bottle rockets which began going off in the car. Everyone jumped out, and the car rolled slowly down the road with over a hundred bottle rockets shooting off inside of it.

I didn't see it, but I love the story. Not the brightest guys in our little town.
