Oblivious to his son’s doings, he sponsored the gun permit. He’s culpable!

Robert Crimo, Sr. = deceased grandfather of shooter
Robert Crimo, Jr. = father of shooter
Paul Crimo = uncle of shooter
Robert Crimo, III = shooter

Since grandfather died in 2018, it's possible all 3 have lived together in the house since 2018. His obituary has been removed from the funeral home's website:

If his father sponsored him after that, I hope the victims sue the shit of out him. The father and even grandfather seem despicable.

he said he'd "kill everyone". his knife collection was seized. no charges were filed, so none of that went in a Federal database.

his father sponsored him for a gun purchase after that - which is morally irresponsible at the very least. who knows, maybe III convinced II that he'd changed his ways.

the other options are worse - II knew III was a risk and sponsored him so he'd shut up about it, or, even worse, II felt it was a 2nd Amendment/RKBA issue.

i don't know if II can be held liable in a civil suit for any of those.

this guy and his brother were always left waiting for a ride at the end of the school day. I would say that this household had some problems. I, personally, don't think you can completely shelter kids from the dark sides of life, but you can do your best to raise them to make good choices, you can encourage them to read and to be involved in physical activities and you can monitor the amount of time they're spending on the internet. Finally, and the hardest thing, you have to communicate with them. Just my 2 cents as a mother and a grandmother.

I've seen pics of her when she was a little girl and I feel very sad for that child because she didn't have a chance. Raised by a couple of real dirtbag parents. It's no surprise she turned out the way she did. Hopefully, she can still turn it around and live a happy life .

failed by people who are supposed to care for them, years before the shootings ever happen. It'll take more than "mental health" changes to support some of these people when they are young, before red flags ever appear.

the bird. He was 16 years old. One other boy in the class of 26 students also appears to be doing the same thing much more overtly (standing front and center), but his hand is blurred probably from the motion.

"Bob" gives off that disrespectful punk vibe.
