is that James wouldn't have to go to Russia to play in the off season because he makes enough money as a professional athlete in the U.S.

5. The US government warned Americans citizens to leave Russia in weeks before invasion of Ukraine.

I want Brittany Griner to return safely to the US.

There is a message here - when the US government tells you to leave a country, you listen and leave (or in Griner's case, you don't return). Griner may have thought she was safe because she was such a public figure. You don't substitute your own judgment for the governments in this situation.

And the fact is there are some demands that just can't be met. It doesn't matter who is being held.

When you go into countries run by dictators who don't value human rights, you are taking a big risk

I would like to know why Brittany would go over there considering the news that Russia was going to invade Ukraine. Seems like her agents weren't looking out for her best interests.
