Under new Florida law, the state will track the political views of university faculty and students
And when you're asked your political views, just be prepared to go full-blown collegiate Florida Man or Florida Woman
State campuses need more political diversity! So it's a great time to start new parties:
Moon-landing Truther Party -- all state employees must swear that the Apollo missions were a hoax
Free Guns in Schools Party -- taxpayers should provide everyone in our elementary schools (staff, teachers, and students) with a loaded uzi for self-defense
Public executions for miscarriage -- any woman who has a miscarriage belongs on death row
And don't be shy about expressing your deeply-held personal beliefs:
"I'm tired of liars telling me the earth is round"
"The major problems today are vampires and werewolves"
"I always vote for whoever the mothership tells me to support"
With hardly any work, you'll come up with much better stuff than I did
Fug em. Have fun with it.

(26,142 posts)I have watched both faculty and staff take it, and it's pretty bad. Both categories have separate tests after a bit, unless you are also staff who may teach a class or two, which exist. I haven't seen what the student one says. Many staff and faculty have changed their voter registration to R or I, and they also answered the survey like a conservative. LGBT staff are waiting to be fired this year, that is how scared folks are here.
Fcaulty have some union protection, but staff have none. No union, no due process.
People cannot share the link with people here. Good lord.

(26,142 posts)People need health insurance. People are afraid, especially Poc/women/LGBT+.
The surveys are linked to the email of the student, staff, or faculty they are sent to. I know this for a fact.

(3,523 posts)With that in mind, everyone should indicate that they are strong, right-wing conservatives in the survey.
Then make the argument that we need more liberal, progressive ideas in schools to balance that out.

(6,490 posts)They'll use the fake wingnut count to justify hiring more looney tunes wingnut faculty so that "the faculty more accurately represents the views" of the college.
