(5,455 posts)outside the restaurant? They had every right to be there peaceably. What a shame he was "bothered" by the noise. I read that Kavanaugh doesn't know there is no "right to eat dinner in a restaurant without noise" specifically written in the Constitution.

(19,382 posts)Remember when the Supreme Court ruled for gay marriage? Would we be as cool if protesters followed our liberal judges everywhere? Im not so sure wed have the same outlook.

(7,899 posts)However, I look at those lives lost due gun violence, and the unwillingness of SCOTUS to uphold reasonable laws. I think of Buffalo, where people were shopping. They will never eat another dinner. Its a different time. SCOTUS is out of touch with the American people, and have NO check. Im nit sure they should feel completely comfortable.

the right to peaceful protest is there, though I agree, it would be better not to make it personal and protest in front of the Supreme Court building rather than follow justices around to places like home and restaurants. But as to the First Amendment, there is a right to do that anyway. Just stay on the public paths.

What these others ones did is take away rights, make women more vulnerable and make poor people poorer. That is a big difference in my opinion.

If he believes in what he's doing, if he truly believes that women are little more than incubators, devoid of human rights, then he should have faced the protestors and said so.

Let's discuss void of decency in a much broader context.
Kavanaugh's rulings are about as selfish and void of decency as it gets, so why did they serve him?
