(14,624 posts)that the Emperor in "Obi-Wan Kenobi" bears a striking resemblance to the most evil man in America? I would not shed a single tear if Mitch dropped dead on the floor of the senate tomorrow.

(168 posts)Hmm, don't they have pharmacies in their grocery stores?
Irish_Dem
(82,322 posts)Actually a CVS pharm tech told me about the drug prices at Krogers. She said Krogers makes so much money on groceries they basically give away meds at cost. The prices at Krogers are way less expensive than CVS for most drugs.

(168 posts)If it goes in your mouth Kroger probably had something to do with it.

(168 posts)To be fair; my Master's was in Organizational Management with a focus on food systems.
Kroger has always worried me because they aren't about food service, they are about money.
Gouging is their modus operandi.
A loaf of bread can be 1.99 in one store, but then just 10 miles away they will sell the very same bread for "two loaves for 5 dollars."
Margin is their game.

(82,322 posts)Even during the holidays, there is only one clerk at the register.
Which results in long lines.
Krogers is forcing people to use the automatic check out so they don't have to pay clerk salaries.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a small bag of fresh cherries, there was no price posted.
I was shocked when it rang up at $12. I complained about it and the clerk told me I had to download a coupon to get a better price. I am a Kroger's member, but have no idea how to download coupons to my phone.
I pulled a Karen and talked to the manager, saying this discriminates against older folks who are not tech savvy. He told me Kroger's wants to save money and no long use paper coupons. Will only use online coupons. He did reduce the price of my bag of cherries for me.
Thanks for the info.

(14,624 posts)Kroger still sends me coupons, so there's that.
Irish_Dem
(82,322 posts)They are going to save a bundle on paper and postage he said.
So I guess we will can enjoy paper coupons while they last.

(82,322 posts)Krogers got it down to $630 a month with Good RX.
Ouch.

(14,624 posts)It sometimes works instead of insurance. Put it that way. I have Part D, GoodRx, SingleCare, and Optum. It's a damn juggling act every time I get a new med.

(77,859 posts)... and the Democrats. He is without shame and the sooner he dies the better. He worked 24/7 to sabotage
anything President Obama tried to do, or put on the fed. court system, and he knew about Russia rat fucking the
2016 elections and kept that hidden from the American people. McConnell is fine with some family in Boone, KY
hurting as long as they are watching Fox, listening to their right wing Pastors, and voting blue so as to stop "those
liberals."

lies about Joe Biden and his family by with holding arms that the Ukrainian Army needed
because they were in a hot war with Russia. This also helped Trump's buddy Vlad in his goal
to take over the Country.
