Tough choices! 
I'm sorry you hate the finals, but I understand missing the ones that didn't make it, that you loved.
We all have favorites and sometimes they get left behind. That's how it is with contests.
So then I have to choose which is my most favoritest! 
That can be really hard, and this time was no exception. But it was still fun.
They had never had any contact/experience with a cat, I visited and taught the kids how to play with him. Kiddy was instantly engaged with my gentle roughhousing and he and I played like that every time I came over, we were buddies. He was both cool and doglike-connected. This shot was taken when I was cat sitting for him over New Years some years ago, had the luxury to catch that quiet moment of serenity, followed of course by little snuggles with him. He just passed away last month so I was happy to see the contest topic this month would include him. May be the only time I ever submitted a photo(?). Very glad for your feeling it, planetc. He was so very loved.

But I loved Hello kitty, and am partial to the gator's face wondering where he put his glasses. I mean, what a face, lol, he is dumbfounded!
