The Big Lie is theater for the poorly educated

I think the MSM has failed to characterize what the Big Lie is. CNN has referred to it as a huge fraud, larger than Watergate even. That's not really it though. It's theater for the poorly educated and easily amused Trump voters. True frauds aren't generally committed so brazenly in full daylight. Educated Trump voters see it for what it is: a strategy to herd the useful idiots. The fact that it enrages the left is just icing on the cake. But the true goal is to circle the wagons using this rag-tag consortium, fight the liberals, and secure votes and judicial seats and everybody's special interests.

The trouble with the poorly educated is that they are richly armed.

country has been (deliberately) defunded, under-funded and diminished for decades. Teachers salaries are shamefully too low. Civics is no longer or rarely taught, producing a generation(s) incapable of knowing when their rights are being taken away from them because they don’t know what those rights are. Many have never read, let alone studied the Constitution. Many can’t accurately identify states on a map of the USA or name and describe the functions of the 3 branches of our Government. Republicans WANT an uneducated or under-educated, easily manipulated citizenry. It suits their plans very well.

Yes I'm very much aware that's a large portion of Trump's fanbase. However, I know people with multiple degrees and careers who do nothing but immerse themselves in the right wing bullshit for whatever reason - religious or otherwise. You can see it on Facebook and elsewhere. I think the term "grossly misinformed" or "willfully ignorant" would be a better fit.
