Yea, she was a T, but she had the courage, sense of well being, whatever. She walked away from the as**le. I kinda feel sad she passed. She was maybe the only person, who told the former guy , NO, and he couldnt do anything about it. I kinda admire her strength.
Can anyone one tell me who has done that since?

(3,571 posts)She wrote a whole book on him. It was terrific.
But, did she tell him? Claudette, this post is just a thought provoking post. I believe , ivana is the only one who told him , no, and he didnt fight back.

If she wasn't she never would have lasted as long as she did.

(7,102 posts)Magazines used to be a big part of my life and now I hardly ever look at one, except The New Yorker, which we have a subscription to. Most medical waiting rooms have gotten rid of them (pandemic, I guess), probably for good.

I can just imagine how HE rankled Trump... Sadly, though they divorced and rekindled many times over the years, he died in 2019 of melanoma.

(2,116 posts)But my question remains, who is the one person who got fed up, looked him in the face and said no, and he didnt fight back??
nini
(16,672 posts)But she continued to defend his BS till the end.
IF she indeed said NO she never would have supported his candidacy and helped that monster become president.
The divorce - like everything else - was about money and and what came along with it. She knew he'd take off with Maples in no time and she struck first to get her 'share'.
In other words her motives weren't really based in her honor but her greed and power - just like he always does.

But then he blamed her for losing the Plaza.

(2,116 posts)And getting angry, quick responses, my question remains. And I know what she did, but, take breath, read the question.

(6,974 posts)NO. Wonderful kids don't steal money from a cancer charity, then are banned for life from ever being near a charity again.
Wonderful kids don't sit back and watch their racist, fatass, treasonous, lying daddy try to steal an election, and try to turn this country into something worse than Russia and russia's fucked up thanks that crazy fool putin, and his oligarchs who sucked that country dry of money. I read that fatso is now running a shadow government.
Wonderful kids don't murder innocent animals like Beavis & Butthead.
Ivanka and Jared made $670 million dollars when they were in the white house stealing money, using private email servers and making back door deal with the murderous Saudi regime like the evil mannequin Jared was and still IS.
Ivana was in denial if she thinks that those rotten ass, animal-murdering, ignorant, racist pieces of shit she raised had any good in them.
Sorry, but I admire the strength of a woman like Michelle Obama who was called a transvestite, the N-word, a traitor, an ape in heels etc. by racist pieces of shit GQP'ers, and her husband's citizenship was questioned by that other third lady hussy whose whole family is nothing but chain migrant folks, yet she dared open her botoxed, rotten ass, racist mouth up to question Barack Obama's citizenship?
Everybody can like or admire whoever they want to, but stand with people like Michelle Obama not with the likes of a fool like Ivana who said she raised 'wonderful' kids. You shouldn't be ripped, you have the right to your opinion, but your judgment leaves a lot to be desired though.

(17,440 posts)What you are seeing in the responses is that a lot of people have trouble finding empathy for anyone ever involved with that family.
I personally think that any adult involved in that family by choice is inherently a bad person.
But, I take the point of your post, and I wouldn't slam you for your thoughts.

(2,116 posts)It wasnt a post. I was a bit bored and sent something to see a reaction. There is a part of me that believes what I posted . But I feel strongly, we are not the side that just reacts out of anger. We are the GOOD GUYS as long as we breathe, think, and slow down. We are truly the Good Guys.
