There must have been 30 posts today on How its so obvious by now that Trump is convictable Of scores of crimes, along with the traitors in Congress. Meidas touch had some videos. Glenn Kirchner keeps on coming out with videos. MSNBC commentators comment on how hes seriously indictable.
And yet, Trump and his fellow seditious conspirators continually double down on the big lie and the evil Democrats, etc. and its so fucking exhausting to read this day in and day out. If its all so Damned obvious, you would think they would be a hint of some sort of impending prosecution down the road. A glimmer of hope. Instead, we and the pundit class resort to reading tea leaves and parcing snippets of comments to find that very slight glimmer.
I hate to be a downer, but thats my take on whats going on. I have to say, I hope I am way off base. I hope I am very very wrong or. But when you see dynamic Democrats speak, people like Stacy Adams or Gavin Newsom, you cant help but wish there were people like that working on the prosecution issues.

(32,319 posts)She just subpoenaed politicians who were fake electors, one, I believe is running for Lt. governor.
Letitia James is also going to take a big chunk of Trump's cash.
I'm with you about DOJ. When I see Mark Meadows walking into a grand jury I will perk up.

(5,060 posts)On the one hand, he sets a lofty goal by trying to keep the DOJ out of political spats.
On the other hand, the rule of law collapses if Trump is allowed to walk free forever.

(81,262 posts)There is a huge amount of evidence, some of which we witnessed in real time.
However it may be the case that people are afraid to go after Trump.
There may be no will to prosecute him for his crimes.
That is reality.
The J6 Congressional hearings may be all we get.
But on the bright side, the American people will know that Trump is guilty.

(30,468 posts)all.our laws in the trash and forget it - We're done, imo, as a country.
I frankly think there's plenty of will to go after Trump -- If those in power are too chicken shit to do it, they need to give the.power to someone who's not

(39,086 posts)now we can't do it that is Banana Republic stuff. If he does run again things are going to be rigged so
he will take office even if he loses the election. We are in deep shit and DOJ is not going to bail us out.

to the "culturally and emotionally impoverished idiots" of our country.
If you'd not noticed, that trucker protest awhile back was Canadian. It's not been absent in Europe, where, in France, for instance, a bus driver was beaten to death by three passengers after he asked them to wear a mask.
