I was thinking that a lot of SS agents and supervisors need to be reassigned

Initially I thought they should go to one of their other functions. Then I looked at the other possibilities. The other main function beyond phyical protection is financial system security and investigation. So first off they should not be electronic incompetents. Congress really needs full investigation of the missing texts. But beyond that, the idea of trump supporters “investigating” mail fraud, wire fraud, etc. certainly raises concerns since TFG has been immersed in these sorts of activities for many years. It makes me wonder how deeply the SS has been compromised by RW Trumpers.

I guess their mission for physical protection is probably the best place agents. And aside from lying about it, their actions on Jan 6 seem appropriate. I’m thinking it’s not so much the agents as supervisors and agency managers. I say interview the agents under oath, see if the BS is coming from higher ups.

It is a culture of lawlessness, serious security violations, arrogance, etc.
There needs to be some big time reform.

If the agents don't like it they can find other employment.

Revoke their security clearances and 2 years of ankle monitoring.

Sharing state secrets? Immediate Club Fed.

You can't have untrustworthy people protecting the President and Vice-President.

Except where they tried to whisk Mike Pence away so he couldn't count the electoral votes.

At this point they have no credibility left.
