too many lunatics around. I guess you have to be very brave or crazy to drive around with that on your truck.

Back in the day, I got confronted in a parking lot by an elderly man over my "New Yorkers for Kerry-Edwards" bumper sticker. Lucky he only confronted me rather than did something to my car, someone else might have done damage while my car was parked. And, these days, the nut jobs are everywhere.

criticism about invading Iraq, I had a bumper sticker that said, "Without dissent, it's not America."

I came out of a supermarket to find a woman staring at the bumper sticker. Instead of putting her empty cart in the cart collection "bin," she shoved it toward my car. It made contact, but didn't do any damage.

She was parked next to me so I stared at her as I got into my car, and she stared back at me, defiantly. Neither of us spoke, but I moved the cart away from my car and put it right behind hers so that she had to get out and move it while I drove away.

What is wrong with these people?? And they're definitely getting worse, think they're entitled to "revenge" for being pissed off - or something. Back in 2004, all that elderly man did was confront me. You had some jerk shove a cart towards your car. Can you imagine what they'd do now? We may be in a "blue state," but we still have plenty of deplorables. Just the other day I saw a pickup pull into a lot where I was parked with a full sized TFG flag flying! The driver was a young guy. Would we feel entitled to mess with his "flag?" The other thing is that the retribution is all on one side though that doesn't mean that the rest of us don't feel angry, and with much better reason, the difference is that we don't act on it.

That display, I don’t think I’d mess with him. There’s something to be said for a good offense.

Or a T Shirt.

What good will you be when actual physical resistance is needed?

I have been a vocal burr up their butts my entire life.
