1. I believe they are doing jury selection, so the actual trial won't have started yet.

Once the trial starts it should go rather quickly. He'll get a conviction, it's almost certain. The appeals will drag out for years however. As long as Bannon can pay his lawyers, there will be appeals, and more appeals.
