1. How does it relate?

This is indeed propaganda from the gun radicals.

How does the Good Samaritan story relate to shooting someone? Even shooting and killing a bad guy?

The New Testament story is about how a member of an 'outcast' group helping an individual who was hurt ... it is not about violence.

Everyone should have a gun to stop bad things from happening.

5. He had a Glock.

He was legal under the new constitutional carry provision. He is 22.

This isn’t exactly the same as Rittenhouse, despite the fact that he was carrying in a no-gun zone. He just happened to be there when the shooting started.

Cops at the presser said the guy did everything right in approaching the shooter. But this sticks with me — a long gun and a Glock in a mall food court.

Yes, he’ll be a hero among the gun-humpers here, and proof of “it takes a good guy” BS. I’m anticipating that the general assembly will honor him on the floor with a resolution thanking him for his bravery (and good aim).

While I'm glad he was able to take out the shooter without causing more harm, FUCK!

11. About as different from Rittenhouse as you can get.

He was:

a) just going about his daily business as opposed to inserting himself into a volatile situation;
b) old enough to legally possess his firearm;
c) carrying concealed so as not to draw attention to himself; and
d) stopped a murderous rampage.

Not the same. Not even close.

This guy saved many lives but it seems some pathetic people here would have preferred the deaths to push an agenda than a good guy with a gun.
