So, if I were to---say---knock over a liquor store and be positively identified by

numerous witnesses, could I simply announce that I was running for POTUS and avoid prosecution?

I ask because some seem convinced that when Trump tosses his MAGA cap into the 2024 race for the White House, he will be "home free".

I can't wait until sentencing and he tries to barter down his sentence, tries....

Knocking over a liquor store is not egregious enough.

Maybe if you shot someone on 5th Avenue, that might do it.
