Dems better be running these stories in Texas and campaigning on stories like this. Or else, we are screwed.

There must be reform to these heinous laws. That’s non-negotiable.

…. (Fetus plus placenta plus water) — kindly know that it rots. It decays. It will kill the mother, given time.

The horror, the horror.

This is what the news needs to be showing, not all the religious nutbags and their "deeply-held beliefs".

These are ordinary people whose lives and families get ruined by fanatics and their lust to rule everyone else's lives.

where is the fecking AMA. This is against the hypocratic oath.
The fetus is dead. Not treating the mother is tantamount to homicide.

These are human rights violations. LIFE,liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Soon, They’ll be talking about stop politicizing tragedy as if it wasn’t their politics causing tragedy.
MSNBC had a story about a woman who miscarried at 16 weeks. They knew the fetus was not viable. The doctors did not perform the D&C, instead labor was induced and she went through hours of labor unnecessarily delivering a dead fetus. Instead of the normal 15 minute D&C procedure. The doctor said he didn’t know if her screams were from mental anguish or physical pain.

Did she end up traveling to another state to get the procedure performed?

Or did Texas give her their approval to have it performed by her doctor or local clinic in state?

They're not killing it. If they can show/certify that the fetus is dead, they should be able to remove it asap.

I don't understand these doctors who won't advocate for their patients. Just once, I'd like to see someone step up and say, "Yes, I removed the dead fetus and tissue before it killed my patient so she will be able to get pregnant again if she wants to."

How do these pro-birth idiots not understand that infections related to failed pregnancies and carrying around dead tissue can scar the reproductive system and cause damage that would prevent future births? If they were REALLY pro-life, they'd do everything they could to protect the childBEARER and not their no-longer-viable, imaginary babies.

Grrrrrr.

Male female relationships in the Bible are determined by a property ethic. In the Ten Commandments, the prohibition against coveting a neighbor’s wife is part of a broader prohibition against coveting property that belongs to another man: “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor” (Exodus 20:17NIV). Under Levitical law, men have legal rights that guard against theft and property damage, including damage to women. Coerced sex is considered wrong only when it occurs outside of the contractual agreements men have with each other. In such cases, the punishments for rape have to do not with compassion or trauma to the woman herself but with honor, tribal purity, and a sense that a used woman is damaged goods. A rapist can be forced, essentially, to buy his victim. By contrast, a woman who voluntarily gives up her purity may be killed because she has transformed herself from a family asset to a liability.

In 1988 in the commonwealth of Massachusetts my cousin was 8 months pregnant and her fetus died. Her Dr. made her wait until her body aborted the child. I thought she was going to have a nervous break down it was a horrible time for her
