When Claire McCaskill was my senator she always used the August recess to host a town hall in every county in Missouri.

15. She would combine several in a day, usually finding towns

That met along a border. Example: she'd hold a town hall in Lone Jack (Jackson County) then in Kingsville at a park or the high school (15 minutes from Lone Jack in Johnson County.) Or she'd start in Odessa (Lafayette), head down to Johnson then over to Lee's Summit in Jackson then to Belton in Cass, etc.
In some parts of the state you can easily knock out several counties quickly, especially if you start w a 7 am breakfast town hall and go straight through the day.
(Btw- recommend the 7 am. They always had donuts and she was always energized and ready for questions.)
I attended several of her town halls. It was definitely something she was proud to do. Roy Blunt and Josh Hawley refuse to hold town halls unless they are campaign fundraisers.

any more than SCROTUS does. I believe Biden and Harris are willing to fight for us. My support is with them.

Maybe they need less vacation like the rest of us get.

Excellent pay and benefits...they have priorities and can't get anything done. Count on marriage equality and contraception going away. I own two businesses that employ people...I can't imagine having the luxury of not getting anything done.

I'm amazed that those who are supposed to represent productive people can't get anything done, yet they get paid decently, have perks, and have pensions. Anyone who is not a millionaire when they get there tends to become a millionaire by the time they leave. What a career!

He seems to be in charge of what bills even get to the floor for discussion. Ask the minority leader nicely and he may allow it.
