(59,877 posts)This is an inevitable result. It has always self-corrected in the past, and it will self-correct this time. In the meantime, anyone with dollars looking to buy things in Euros has a good time, just like American exporters looking to sell to the EU are swimming upstreamthe mirror image of how it is for EU citizens when the euro gets too high against the dollar. It has been like this ever since Bretton Woods was abandoned.
