OP
I know they're doing it in some elections, but not sure if this is one of them.

Pretty remarkable what's unfolding in the GOP primary for MD governor right now. As Pam notes, it's early yet. But Trump ally Dan Cox, who organized buses to the Jan 6 rallies, is building a steady, geographically diverse edge against Kelly Schulz, Larry Hogan's chosen successor.

The votes are cast but they aren't all counted yet. It's too soon to say who your nominees for governor will be. But early returns show @iamwesmoore topping the Democrats & @DanCoxEsq leading the Republicans. Many thousands of votes yet to count, though.

This was before the race was called.

(10,071 posts)3. I read earlier that the dems were backing this gop candidate because
with him, they think they can win this governor race. Not sure if that is true or not.

(10,071 posts)5. I didn't read it on this site but no doubt they were quoting from this article
I am not sure how reliable it is.

I can't say I agree with it.

That might be a governorship going blue.
