The Secret Services story just seems a bit shaky.

"Oops sorry," is weak tea.

What does seem plausible is that after 4 years of working for Orange Fuckingstien many agents, of all ilks, probably texted a whole bunch of things.

Good or bad, seditious or not, the Secret Service was already involved in a criminal operation by being in Trump's sphere of influence.

It makes more sense that the leadership of the Secret Service planned to loose their cell text records in an effort to CYA.

Just my two cents.

They are supposed to be in the integrity business. Since when was that optional?

He did his job, just wonder what he got in return. He is leaving at the end of the week for a new cushy job. I really really hope that Merrick Garland interrupts that cushy life for a prison cell.

Who says it gets to police itself? This calls for an independent investigation. Why should we take their word for anything, especially now? They are clearly compromised.

Some of them are probably scrambling to tell them everything they know.

The SS are made of macho men so they will talk.

So far, pretty much everything that's gone to hell in the past umpty-ump years can be linked somehow to Putin.

And in "Life Imitates the Avengers" fashion, what better way to take over than by infiltrating the ones closest to power. (Do you recall some sloppy work in Dallas many years ago. I ain't forgetting.)

Now, you say, no Conspiracy Theories here. I don't believe in them either, unless they keep ringing true. And in perfect "Every Accusation is a Confession" ( https://www.democraticunderground.com/100216777247 ) manner, the purveyors of the many sick CT's are in one hell of a big conspiracy. Not even the Flint-Stones are capable of dreaming up and carrying out one this grandiose.
