I remember it being a big topic of discussion in the early ‘80’s. The late ‘70’s among many of us.

Someone wrote about the dangers of coal in London in the 1850's.
Rachel Carson warned us about pesticides about 70 years ago (and the right is still trying to discredit her).

People only belive what they want to. It is nearly hopeless.

recognize rw radio denying gw for 30 years. at $1000/hr 1200 radio stations x 15hrs/day are worth about $90M/week or $5B per yr!

all that's fucking FREE! paid for by advertisers often attracted by more than 87 universities supporting 260+ republican radio stations.... why? where the fuck are the environmental groups not complaining about it?

right now klobuchar and whitehouse on MSNBC talking about dark money giving us this supreme court. wake the fuck up democrats - it's the radio!

limbaugh spent 3 weeks calling christine blasey ford a paid dem operative for exposing kavenaugh. like he did to anita hill to get thomas on. that didn't cost shit. endorsed by 260+ limbaugh stations and paid for by advertisers that will continue to have no fucking clue until dems finally do something.

I couldn't even talk about the weather if it got cold in winter with my nutty right-wing mother without a snarky Al Gore global warming comment. Then from other directions, he was a "coastal elite" "establishment" "neoliberal" both sides whatever.
