Let's pretend.

Let's pretend there wasn't an attempted coup and an attempted violent overthrow of our government.

Let's pretend there wasn't a Republican President and a Republican Congress that committed the crimes, but a Democratic President and a Democratic Congress.

It would be no big deal, right? There would be no hypocrisy.

Let's pretend everything is normal.

Let's pretend it never happened.

Maybe it will all go away?

Trump would have called in the National Guard with orders to shoot on sight any Dem stepping onto federal property.

Dems would have been killed, wounded, arrested. Prompt trials with long sentences.

Dems would never be elected to office again, shamed, shunned and humiliated.

We have an excellent legislative body, the select committee, leading the way to bring accountability to the treasonous traitors.

Also we have a brave Fulton County DA.

I think everyone! Involved no matter who, should serve time in prison.

The Republican traitors along with their president that fomenting this scheme should have the longest sentences over the racist, sexist, homophobic rubes that feel for the big lie. It was just anexcuse in their minds to implement their rule over others.

Donald Trump is never going to let it go.

He is incapable of turning it loose. Just this week, he was trying to get the Wisconsin political leaders to decertify the election for Joe Biden.

Someone could take a hammer and smash his knuckles and he would still be holding on.

Unfortunately for him, the American people cannot let it go, either. Such a crime against the people cannot be forgotten. Republicans would be wise to understand that no matter how much they pretend there is nothing there, it is not going away.

because DOJ failed to prosecute the Cyber Ninjas.

Have the Cyber Ninjas turned over any documents yet? They were being fined 50k per day until they turned over documents. I don't hear anything about them lately because they were a pro-Trump fake company with a mailbox for an office.

is because the select committee subpoenaed him. Without the select committee's action Bannon is doing his pod cast today.

...to cover up and divert attention away from what he and the "war room" were doing that day.

Blame the J6 Committee for being unfair and too partisan.

He is trying very hard to keep the truth from coming out.

The danger increases with each passing day.

The President needs to have the 1st Marine Division on standby, just in case our country is attacked again by a violent, domestic enemy. This threat must be met with force, regardless of how the laws may now be written.

But yes there will have to be armed guards activated.

I for one never excuse the actions of any Democrat and I suspect most here wouldn’t either. On the other hand, republicans are always quick to defend, ignore, or deflect away from the wrongdoings of their party.
