North Carolina congresscritters want to kill women who do get abortions.

North Carolina Bill Would Permit Executing Pregnant Women

Executing a woman over the GOP's religious beliefs puts the US in league with the Salem witch trials.

Christian nationalists in North Carolina have proposed a bill that would place the life of fertilized cells over the actual woman and she would be prosecuted for first degree murder that carries the death penalty.

Why don't we have the john lewis voting rights act ?? the small crazy states

Why is roe not codified into law, even though 80% of Americans think it should be ? The small crazy states

Why is TFG not twice impeaches for neglecting his job, Etc ? The small crazy state

This country is deeply divided based on political party affiliation and well within the margins of errors. Most people vote D or R regardless of the candidate. Trump has taken over the R party. So EVERY state now has a nutso GOP.

You allow this religious zealotry into the political sphere this is where it ends: Inquisition 2.0. Anyone and everyone who does not conform to the letter of the hysteria, will be prosecuted and yes, even executed when the 'crime' is considered onerous.

Women were executed, tortured, hanged, burned alive in droves during the height of the witch trials. Heresy, being in league with the Devil, conspiring with demons, yada, yada were the common charges.

Misogyny writ large.

Btw, this is not merely a woman's issue. For all the men who love their mothers and wives, sisters and daughters, this is your issue, too.

What these North Carolina congress critters are doing and/or attempting to put in place is a crime against humanity and all that is decent.
