Hogg, who is also a Parkland school shooting survivor, interrupted comments from Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) that Americans should be armed against an “invasion on our southern border.”

“The shooter at my high school: antisemitic, anti-Black and racist. The shooter in El Paso described it as an invasion,” Hogg shouted at Biggs, referring to a 2019 shooting at a Texas Walmart, as he was escorted from the committee room.

“Those guns are coming from the United States of America. They aren’t coming from Mexico,” he added. “You are reiterating the points of a mass shooter, sir.”

Mexico's gun laws are much more restrictive than the US. Unfortunately their government is much more overtly corrupt and ineffective at enforcing the laws. Drug Cartels are able to import weapons from the US with impunity.

For all I like about him, what I heard trailing off at the very end was Hogg, once again, lumping Democrats and Republicans together as all part of the problem.

I don't know if he does it for strategic reasons, but I don't think I've ever heard Hogg give Democrats any credit for being on the better side of the gun control debate. As far as he's concerned, it seems, if the laws haven't yet been changed as they should, all current office holders are equally to blame.
