The fabric of America has been torn wide open.

Since Marriage equality a little over seven years ago America has become a den of iniquity.

We have people running wild in the streets naked, pedophile shops going up on every street corner, Man on man sex on live tv, women showing their ta ta's at the beach.

When will this madness ever end?

PLEASE JESUS SAVE US!

p.s. Trying to undo Marriage equality is so fucking stupid, it just boggles the mind.

Was listening to the Clay Caine Show at lunch (he's gay) and he brought it up. I would think by now there would be some stats.

Take Massachusetts as an example. This state was the first to allow same sex marriages and it is also the state that has the lowest overall divorce rate. It isn’t a small difference in the divorce rates either. Compared to states that have banned same sex marriage, states that allow the practice have a 20% lower divorce rate.

In any given year, about 1% of the total number of registered same sex civil unions or legal marriages will wind up in divorce.
The same sex marriage divorce rate is about 50% lower on any given year when directly compared to the heterosexual divorce rate.
About two thirds of same sex marriages involve two women.
There are currently about 150,000 registered same sex unions in the United States right now.
Because of the low number of unions that are legally created or dissolved, most countries don’t actually calculate divorce data.
Nearly two-thirds of registered or married same-sex couples are lesbians, and only about a third are gay men.
A smaller percentage of same-sex couples register or marry in comparison to straight couples, but if current trends continue the marriage/registration rates will be similar in about ten years.

Conservatives have absolutely NOTHING to offer the average American as far as policy that will make their lives materially better. They serve only the wealthiest people.

So, they offer fear and hate. They give their "base" a group to look down on, to fear, and to hate. That is how they keep people motivated to vote.

Fear of "those people" who are "indoctrinating and grooming" your children. Hatred of "those people" who are destroying your way of life.

One of the first things Trump said when he was announcing his candidacy in 2015 was about Mexico sending rapist and criminals to the US.

Reagan had his "welfare queens" driving Cadillacs and "young Bucks" eating lobster.

Bush had "the terrorists"

They have all had LGBTQ people and women, and minorities.

It certainly boggles the mind of a person who is able to think rationally and understand that other people's marriages do not affect my own or my life in any way. I know at very least 3 same sex couples who are married, my friends, family members, and coworkers that I spend time with, that my children spend time with. How much do their marriages, identities, and sexual orientations affect my life? Very little. I have no issues, my wife has no issues, and my kids have no issues with any of it because we are all just people trying to live our best lives.
